Forging Resilience: Enhanced Smart Teen Programme 2026
Jointly organized by the Education Bureau and the Fire Services Department, the “Enhanced Smart Teen Programme” was successfully held from 26 to 30 January 2026. Our students spent five intensive days at the Fire and Ambulance Services Academy, immersing themselves in the disciplined life of the fire services.
Under the professional guidance of the academy’s instructors, students tackled a series of demanding challenges, including Chinese-style foot drills, a High Junk Peak hiking expedition, and life-saving CPR and AED training. To test their courage and skills, instructors arranged specialized “Black Box” training, fire extinguisher operation, and water jet drills. The students also visited the Fire and Ambulance Services Education Centre cum Museum to learn about the heritage of our disciplined services.
The program successfully boosted students’ self-discipline, confidence, and team spirit. By facing these rigorous tasks, they have developed the resilience needed to overcome any obstacle in their path.
