To celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, our school’s flag-raising team represented the school at the Hong Kong education sector’s National Day celebration. With orderly steps and a solemn manner, the team members completed the flag-raising ceremony, demonstrating discipline, teamwork and respect for the country. As an important part of our school’s national education programme, the activity enabled students to experience the significance of National Day, deepen their understanding of the country’s history, culture and development achievements, and foster a sense of national identity, responsibility and patriotism. The team members also exchanged ideas with peers from the education sector, broadened their horizons and put the educational mission of fostering virtue through education into practice, preparing themselves to contribute to a better Hong Kong and the nation.
