【S1 Mid-Autumn Festival Moon-Watching Gala cum Parent Meeting🌕✨】
The School’s International Cultural Campus Team held the “S1 Mid-Autumn Moon-Gazing Evening cum Parents’ Gathering” on the evening of Friday, 18th September 2026. 🍂🍂 The Mid-Autumn Festival, with its bright moon and gentle breeze, has long been cherished by Chinese families as a season of reunion and moon appreciation. On this meaningful occasion, all S1 students and their parents were cordially invited to return to the campus to celebrate the festival and admire the full moon together. The event also provided a valuable opportunity for parents to gain a deeper understanding of their children’s school life, to strengthen home-school partnership, and to appreciate the roots of Chinese culture while passing on its fine traditions.
The evening featured a rich and delightful array of activities:
- 🔭 Moon-gazing activity: Organised by the STEAM and Astronomy Club.
- 🏮 Bilingual lantern riddle game: Jointly organised by the Chinese Language Department and the English Language Department.
- 💡 Parent-child moon-lamp ornament workshop: Conducted by the Visual Arts Club and the STEAM and Astronomy Club.
- ☕ Refreshments at ConER Café: Operated by the Baking Club, serving freshly brewed coffee, hot chocolate, freshly baked egg tarts, and chocolate cake.
- 📸 Parent-child photography and photo-frame-making: Arranged by the Photography Club, capturing precious family moments to treasure.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all parents for their support and participation, and to all subject departments, teachers and students for their careful preparation and dedicated service. 🙏 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. ✝️ We firmly believe that, guided by the love of the Lord, our teachers and students will continue to work with one heart and one mind, walking hand in hand with parents to build a nurturing environment filled with care, wisdom and character formation, and together witness the growth and transformation of our students’ lives. 🌱🌱
