Our Students Win Writing Competition Award and Receive High Praise from Guest of Honour
Our award-winning students and over ten student volunteers recently attended the award presentation ceremony of the “2025-2026 Territory-wide Primary and Secondary Schools Creative Writing Competition — The 5th Good Mountains, Good Waters, Good Hong Kong [Community Care Starts with Me]”. Their performance received high praise from the Guest of Honour, Commissioner Wong of the Home Affairs Department, Official Wang of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government, and Councillor Tsang of the Organising Committee.
The competition themed “Community Care Starts with Me” saw our student volunteers actively participating in community service, putting the spirit of care into practice. This echoes our school’s annual theme “Developing Talents, Serving Together”, allowing students to unleash their potential and serve the community in the spirit of servant leadership.
After the event, our teachers and students took a group photo with Professor Si Chung-mou of The Education University of Hong Kong, the Chief Judge of the competition. Our school was also interviewed by two newspapers, Bauhinia Magazine and HKI POST, where our award-winning students and student volunteers shared their acceptance speeches and glimpses of campus life, showcasing the confidence and elegance of our students.
Our school has always valued the holistic development of students. This award and media coverage are both an affirmation of our students’ efforts and an encouragement to our school’s educational work. We hope our students will continue to strive and shine in different fields, bringing glory to the school.
