These prestigious awards were jointly presented by the UNESCO Hong Kong Association and the Hong Kong Institute of Education for Sustainable Development, recognizing the students’ dedication to scientific inquiry and sustainable agriculture through space seed cultivation.
The award ceremony was held in celebration of World Space Week, an annual global event established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1999. It aims to highlight the impact of space science and technology on human progress and inspire public engagement in space exploration. This event was officially registered on the World Space Week global platform, marking it as one of Hong Kong’s recognized contributions to this international celebration.
